Please note

Severe weather, traffic, or other conditions may cause route alterations. Distance and tour times may vary.

Exploring Bishop Castle involves steep stairs, uneven surfaces, narrow passages, and elevated walkways. Guests should use caution and wear appropriate footwear.

Climbing is optional. Guests who prefer to remain at ground level can still enjoy the castle and surrounding views.

Accommodations for larger groups (9+ guests) may be made upon request.

Guest Preparation & Safety

Footwear

Closed-toe shoes are recommended for all guests. Tennis shoes, sneakers, or hiking boots are recommended. Sandals, heels, or wedges are not recommended, as proper footwear ensures comfort and safety throughout the tour.

Clothing & Weather

Colorado weather is unpredictable. We often get short rain showers at the base of Pikes Peak Mountain and into Colorado Springs! Bring extra layers to stay warm and dry in changing conditions - our tours operate rain, snow, or shine.

Medical Needs

If you have allergies, asthma, or other conditions, please bring your necessary medications. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please notify staff and/or your tour guide before continuing the tour.

Hydration & Snacks

We encourage guests to bring a personal water bottle to stay hydrated and reduce waste. Complimentary water and snacks are provided throughout the tour.

Personal Belongings

A small backpack or bag is recommended for personal items. For security reasons, do not leave valuables in the vehicle at any time.

Car Seats & Boosters

All children must be properly secured in a car seat or booster seat as required by law. We do not provide or install child safety seats. Guests must supply and install their own before departure. Tours will not proceed if required safety equipment is missing or improperly installed.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are non-refundable within 48 hours of departure for standard bookings, and 7 days for private groups. This policy allows us to honor our schedule, maintain availability for other travelers, and ensure a smooth experience for all guests. Safety is always our priority. Tours run rain or shine, but in cases of severe weather, we may delay, modify, or cancel the tour. If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you'll receive a full refund or can reschedule at no cost.
